Where can I watch England World Cup matches in Reading?

Urban Fun Reading is showing every England match live throughout the World Cup on multiple big screens in the heart of Reading town centre, in Broad St Mall.

Do I need to book to watch England games?

No. Entry is free and no booking is required. Simply turn up, grab a drink and a seat and enjoy the match.

Is there free entry to watch the football?

Yes. Watching the World Cup at Urban Fun Reading is completely free.

Can I reserve a table?

No reserved tables are available for World Cup screenings. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What time should I arrive for England games?

For England matches, we recommend arriving 30–60 minutes before kick-off to secure the best viewing spots.

Will all England matches be shown live?

Yes. Every England match will be shown live at Urban Fun Reading.

Are other World Cup matches being shown?

Yes. Selected matches throughout the tournament will be shown whenever the venue is open.

We open from 11am-10pm Monday to Friday and 10am-10pm Saturday and Sunday.

Can I just come in for a drink and watch the game?

Absolutely. You don’t need to book activities or purchase a package. Just walk in and enjoy the football.

Is commentary played during matches?

Yes. Major World Cup matches, including England games, will be shown with full match commentary.

Do you serve beer during the games?

Yes. Ice-cold beers, pitchers, cocktails, soft drinks and a full range of drinks will be available throughout the tournament.

Is food available while watching the football?

Yes. Food will be available throughout the day, making Urban Fun the perfect place to eat, drink and watch the action.

Can I play games before, during and after the match?

Of course. Enjoy arcade games, AR darts, curling, our new pixel floor and our huge arcade before kick-off, at half-time or after the final whistle.

Is Urban Fun Reading family friendly?

Yes. Families are welcome during the day, making Urban Fun a great place to watch England together. After 9pm, all guests under 18 years old must be accompanies by an adult.

Where is Urban Fun Reading located?

Urban Fun Reading is located in Broad Street Mall in Reading town centre, making it easy to get to by train, bus or car.

If you’re open, will the football be on?

Yes. If Urban Fun Reading is open and there’s a World Cup match being shown, you’ll be able to watch it with us.
